Prepare a username or link
Use a username, or copy the story link of the person whose stories you want. A profile link previews the profile photo on this page.
Search
Choose Stories on home, then type a username or URL in the same search box. A username opens the story viewer; a story URL shows the story preview on this page. A profile URL previews the profile photo.
Save
Tap Download on the preview. Stories from private accounts, and expired or deleted stories, are not supported.
Anonymity and limits
We never ask for your password and connect over HTTPS. Only public stories are fetched — we do not unlock private stories. Opening a story in the Instagram app while logged in can still leave a mark. For highlights, choose Highlights on the home shortcuts.

No. Only currently active public stories appear. For items saved as highlights, choose Highlights on the home shortcuts.
