What you can save

Photos and videos from public posts, including carousel slides. Save stories and highlights from those menus on home. Private, restricted, or deleted media is not available.

Steps

Choose Photos on the home shortcuts, then type a username to open that account’s posts. Paste a public post URL (/p/…) to see results on the Photos page. Save the photos or videos you need from the preview with a browser download or to your device photo library.

Copyright

Creators keep their rights. Do not redistribute or use commercially—personal viewing only. StoryView is a viewing/saving tool and does not transfer ownership.

Quality tips

We save within the quality Instagram makes public. A higher original is not guaranteed. Network conditions can also change how the file looks. Post videos are saved from this preview. For Reels and story clips, see those guides.

Frequently asked questions

Can I save Instagram photos in original quality?

We save within the quality Instagram makes publicly available. We cannot guarantee a higher original if Instagram compresses the file.

Do I need to log in to save photos?

No. StoryView saves public post photos and videos without an Instagram login. Private content is out of scope.

Can I save multiple photos at once?

For carousel posts, preview each slide and download only the ones you need.

May I redistribute saved photos?

No. Keep files for personal viewing and do not redistribute without the creator’s permission.
