Prepare a username or link

Use a username, or open the post in Instagram, tap Share, then Copy link. Post URLs usually include /p/. For stories or Reels, choose that shortcut on home.

Search

Choose Photos on home, then type a username or post URL in the same search box. A username opens that account’s posts; a URL shows the preview on this page.

Save to your device

When the preview appears, tap Download. Files save with a browser download or to your device photo library. Keep them for personal viewing only — do not redistribute without the creator’s permission.

What is supported

Public post photos and videos, including carousel slides. Reels, stories, highlights, and profile photos use their own menus. Posts from private accounts, age or region limits, deleted media, and Instagram-blocked items are not fetched. We never ask for your password and connect over HTTPS.

Why use StoryView’s photo downloader

It runs in the browser with no app install and no Instagram login. You can continue to story viewing and the Reels menu, including post videos, in the same product.
