Prepare a username or link
Use a username, or open the Reel in Instagram, tap Share, then Copy link. Reel URLs usually include /reel/. For a post video, copy the post link.
Search
Choose Reels on home, then type a username, Reel URL, or post video URL in the same search box. A username opens the Reels viewer; a URL shows the preview on this page.
Save the video
Tap Download on the preview. Keep files for personal viewing only — do not redistribute without permission.
What is supported
Public Reels, and public post videos opened from a post URL. Story clips use the Stories shortcut. Private, restricted, or deleted videos are not shown. Audio and watermark behavior follows the Instagram source.
