What you need
A username is enough, with or without @, and a story URL works too. The Stories shortcut shows active stories from public accounts. Private accounts, age/geo restrictions, and blocked media are not bypassed.
Steps
On the home shortcuts choose Stories, then type a username in the same search box to open that account’s stories. Paste a story URL to see preview and save results on the Stories page. A profile URL previews the profile photo. Use the Highlights shortcut for highlight reels.
Anonymity and security
We never ask for your password and connect over HTTPS. Requests are handled by our servers so your Instagram account does not appear in the story viewer list. Opening a story in the Instagram app while logged in can still leave a mark. We only fetch public content—we do not unlock private stories.

Will the story owner see that I viewed their story?
StoryView is designed so your Instagram account is not listed as a viewer when you open public stories here. Viewing inside the Instagram app while logged in can still leave a mark.
Can I watch highlights anonymously too?
Yes—choose Highlights on the home shortcuts, then search the username. Private, deleted, or restricted items are not shown.
