Which reels you can save
Reels from public accounts. Private, deleted, age-restricted, copyright-blocked, or geo-limited reels are not available.
Steps
Choose Reels on the home shortcuts, then type a username to open that account’s Reels. Paste a public https://www.instagram.com/reel/… URL to see results on the same page. No login or app install.
Copyright and music
Video and music rights belong to creators and rights holders. Personal viewing only—do not re-upload or use commercially.
Reels vs stories and posts
For story videos use the Stories shortcut. For feed videos, paste the post URL in Reels. Reel URLs use the Reels shortcut too.
Frequently asked questions
Can I save with only a Reel URL?
Yes—choose Reels on home and paste a public Reel URL. Private or expired links can fail.
Will vertical quality look lower?
We save within the public stream quality Instagram provides. It may look softer than a studio original and depends on the network.
How do Reels differ from regular post videos?
Reels use /reel/ URLs and are typically short vertical videos. For feed videos, paste the post URL in Reels or see the video guide.
Do you add a watermark?
StoryView does not force an extra watermark. Output follows Instagram’s public stream.
